I was taking my car to Jersey so wanted a hotel with a car park, The Savoy met that requirement. The welcome at reception was genuine, had everything available, offered information, quick to answer any questions. The trip was for our Wedding Anniversary so I was happy to book the jacuzzi suite. It wasn't cheap by any means but I liked the look of it from various photos. In reality, it was even better than I hoped: the bathroom was perfect, the shower powerful and more than hot enough, the jacuzzi bath fantastic with bubbles and a bottle of wine. Plenty of clothing storage, the bed had high quality linen and was very comfortable. The room was serviced every day and the bed changed after the 3rd night. We used room service on one evening and had good food delivered within a few minutes. Breakfast was very impressive. Four cereals, fresh and tinned fruit, yoghurt, pain au chocolat, croissants, everything to make up a full English, all kinds of tea and coffee, three different fruit juices. Staff polite, unobtrusive, very helpful. We had our Anniversary meal in the 1840 Restaurant. Very much "Masterchef" standard here. Couldn't fault it in any way. Perfect service, table presentation, food, wine, just what we wanted for our special occasion.

The service given by the receptionist was lovely. She gave us a lovely warm welcome and send off home. The room was amazing too. Clean and tidy with great facilities. The tv had apps on it so you could watch satellite tv and streaming service if you wanted too. Tea and coffee facilities were filled to the brim and complimentary biscuits/water were given. The room was equipped with an iron, ironing board, trousers press, safe, hairdryer, mini fridge(in a cupboard under the desk), shower gel, hand wash and hair washing facilities. In regards to commuting we went by plane and public transport due to not having a car. The walk to the bus was around 10-15mins if you needed a connection to the airport. However if you wanted to go to Liberty Bus Station you could catch buses right outside the hotel towards the bus station for more connections including to the airport from there. Overall our stay was amazing. The breakfast buffet was lovely too. Lots of choices. We 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying again in the future.

This is the second time I've stayed here this year. It really is a cut above other places that I've stayed at. The staff are really helpful; the hotel is clean and oozes quality. The breakfast is buffet style with a wide variety. They made poached eggs for me every morning when I asked as it was fried eggs on the buffet, which is not my preference. It's great the be able the just help yourself to what you like for breakfast. It's only about 5-10mins walk into town, depending on how quickly you walk. There is a very small gym here but it was adequate for me. Also, I ordered food at night to take to my room; it was reasonably priced and lovely too. It's ideal for me as it's a 15 min walk from my friend here in Jersey. It's always consistent at The Savoy. I always sleep well here too which is a plus for me. I can't wait to return.

This is the third time we have stayed at The Savoy. Apart from the ideal location for us (Our son and his family live just down the road) It's such a lovely hotel and one of our favourite places to stay. It has a very luxurious atmosphere and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need and more, including extras like bottled water and a full size fridge. The breakfast is always good, with a wide selection of English and continental choices, juices, unlimited tea and coffee too. The other plus for us is that it's spotlessly clean. I'd honestly give it a ten out of ten.

Once all our problems was rectified we would say visit. 3 out of our 4 day holiday problems were still not rectified. The reception team were not passing our problems to the manager in his words he said his staff " was sugar coating" them. I told him it was ridiculous paying a lot of money & having these problems with our room. He sorted all the problems out that day . So thank you michael otherwise you would have had a 1* rating from us.
